Every Doypp project automatically provisions a centralized Database Backend (CMS) generated directly from your data models. This backend serves as your project’s administrative console, allowing you to inspect, manage, and directly manipulate all underlying records without writing database scripts.

The Database Backend is strictly accessible only to you—the project owner—through your Doypp developer dashboard. End users of your mobile or web app cannot access this portal. All registered user accounts exist as records within the built-in User model and can be inspected, activated, or adjusted here alongside your business data.

Model list

The Model List provides an overview of all entities in your system. Selecting any model opens its complete data table, allowing you to browse records, view creation timestamps, and access individual entries.

Example: Browsing records in the Post model table:

Post model: records listing

Record detail & relational inspection

Opening any individual record displays its detailed attribute view alongside all related direct and indirect models. This makes it effortless to audit connections and inspect linked data without running complex queries.

Example: Inspecting a record in the Post model reveals its content, author details, associated comments, and commenting users:

Record content: post body and fields
Author: linked user details
Comments: associated comment records
Commenters: indirect relationship view

Key Administrative Capabilities

  • Direct Data Modification: Create, edit, or remove records across any model during development or maintenance.
  • Relational Integrity Auditing: Visually confirm that foreign keys and bidirectional relationships are resolving properly.
  • User State Management: Manually promote accounts to administrators, unblock suspended accounts, or inspect user registration timestamps.
  • Rapid Prototyping & Seeding: Seed sample records into newly created models to preview how views and layouts will render in your app.
